2018 Summer Internships Posted

If you are bright, ambitious, customer-centric, and looking for experience in the non-profit sector or any of the professional focuses listed below, join our team this summer! Demonstrate your talent in a real-world environment while contributing to a great cause.

USO-Metro is offering seven unpaid summer internships (we are happy to coordinate with your college or university for credit) in the following areas:

• Corporate Development/Marketing
• Sports and Corporate Development
• Operations and Programs (recreation, music, art)

Austin White served as a USO-Metro Sports Program Intern at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall in Arlington, Virginia.

The internship experience at USO-Metro consists of meaningful work that contributes in a big way to each individual’s skillset. All of our interns support USO-Metro’s mission of strengthening America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country. We are looking for dynamic candidates prepared to work with various departments, manage multiple projects at once, and work with our team! Each internship experience includes the opportunity to expand project management and relationship-building skills.

Applications will be reviewed in April and May, until all internships are filled. Candidates are welcome to apply for multiple internships, as long as the minimum qualifications are met for each. Only applicants who submit a cover letter, resume, and response to the application question can be considered.
